# BlackBox vs Gem AI

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: BlackBox at none against Gem AI's 11. BlackBox also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 75%). Gem AI's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 9 months) and ratings volume (2.5K vs 9). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Gem AI sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. BlackBox asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for BlackBox against 4.6 for Gem AI.
