# Vimtag vs ARCCTV

The clearest difference is rating: ARCCTV at 4.4 against Vimtag's 2.2. ARCCTV also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and chart position (#144 vs unranked). Vimtag's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (382 vs 93). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vimtag sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and ARCCTV sells 23 in-app purchases, starting at $5.59 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ARCCTV holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 382 and 93 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of Vimtag's written reviews are positive against 14% of ARCCTV's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Vimtag ships an update every 5 weeks, ARCCTV every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
