# Monster Math 2 vs Math Facts Fluency

The clearest difference is rating: Monster Math 2 at 4.5 against Math Facts Fluency's 3.0. Monster Math 2 also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 53 months) and ratings volume (6.5K vs 2). Math Facts Fluency's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 63%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Monster Math 2 sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $59.99 per year and Math Facts Fluency sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Monster Math 2 holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Monster Math 2 has 6.5K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of Monster Math 2's written reviews are positive against 100% of Math Facts Fluency's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Monster Math 2 ships an update fortnightly, Math Facts Fluency every 53 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and September 19, 2026 respectively.
