# خیام vs NavPlayer

The clearest difference is update cadence: NavPlayer at every 2 weeks against خیام's every 5 months. NavPlayer also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 87%). خیام's advantage is ratings volume (450 vs 7) and rating (4.7 vs 4.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

خیام holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: خیام has 450 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 87% of خیام's written reviews are positive against 100% of NavPlayer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

خیام ships an update every 5 months, NavPlayer every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
