# vEye vs RXCamView

The clearest difference is review sentiment: RXCamView at 45% against vEye's 0%. RXCamView also leads on ratings volume (3.6K vs 20) and update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). vEye's advantage is rating (3.8 vs 3.1) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

vEye holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RXCamView has 3.6K ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of vEye's written reviews are positive against 45% of RXCamView's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

vEye ships an update every 2 months, RXCamView monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
