# VPN Proxy Master vs VPN

VPN Proxy Master and VPN both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 90% of VPN's written reviews are positive against 52% of VPN Proxy Master's. VPN also leads on update cadence (weekly vs monthly) and ratings volume (2.1M vs 311K). VPN Proxy Master's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN Proxy Master sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and VPN sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for VPN Proxy Master against 4.6 for VPN. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VPN has 2.1M ratings behind it against 311K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 52% of VPN Proxy Master's written reviews are positive against 90% of VPN's.

VPN Proxy Master ships an update monthly, VPN weekly. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
