# VPN Proxy Master vs VPN Fastway

The clearest difference is monetization model: VPN Proxy Master at free with in-app purchases against VPN Fastway's subscription. VPN Proxy Master also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 10 months) and review sentiment (52% vs 25%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN Proxy Master sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and VPN Fastway sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VPN Fastway holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VPN Proxy Master has 311K ratings behind it against 57, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 52% of VPN Proxy Master's written reviews are positive against 25% of VPN Fastway's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

VPN Proxy Master ships an update monthly, VPN Fastway every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
