# HUD Widgets vs HDA Auto navigator

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: HUD Widgets at none against HDA Auto navigator's 4. HUD Widgets also leads on rating (3.5 vs 3.0) and ratings volume (110 vs 2). HDA Auto navigator's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HDA Auto navigator sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month. HUD Widgets asks for nothing beyond the download.

HUD Widgets holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HUD Widgets has 110 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 55% of HUD Widgets's written reviews are positive against 60% of HDA Auto navigator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

HUD Widgets ships an update every 2 months, HDA Auto navigator every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
