# JennAir vs Luma View

The clearest difference is rating: JennAir at 4.2 against Luma View's 2.1. JennAir also leads on ratings volume (2.3K vs 7) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 8 months). Luma View's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (12.1 vs 16.1). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

JennAir holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: JennAir has 2.3K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 11% of JennAir's written reviews are positive against 13% of Luma View's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

JennAir ships an update every 2 months, Luma View every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
