# JennAir vs Shellstone Life

The clearest difference is rating: JennAir at 4.2 against Shellstone Life's 3.7. JennAir also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 14 months) and ratings volume (2.3K vs 3). Shellstone Life's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

JennAir holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: JennAir has 2.3K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

JennAir ships an update every 2 months, Shellstone Life every 14 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
