# DronePan vs Fly Go 4

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: DronePan at none against Fly Go 4's 8. DronePan also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (61% vs 36%). Fly Go 4's advantage is ratings volume (100 vs 7) and update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, rating and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fly Go 4 sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. DronePan asks for nothing beyond the download.

Fly Go 4 holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fly Go 4 has 100 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 61% of DronePan's written reviews are positive against 36% of Fly Go 4's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DronePan ships an update every 2 months, Fly Go 4 every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
