# Focus On Five vs Scanner+

The clearest difference is ads: Focus On Five at none against Scanner+'s shown. Focus On Five also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (6 vs 1). Scanner+'s advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 83%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 18.1). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Focus On Five sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Scanner+ sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
