# DreamBLE vs Magic lamp

The clearest difference is rating: Magic lamp at 5.0 against DreamBLE's 2.3. Magic lamp also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). DreamBLE's advantage is review sentiment (25% vs 0%) and ratings volume (22 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Magic lamp holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DreamBLE has 22 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of DreamBLE's written reviews are positive against 0% of Magic lamp's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DreamBLE ships an update every 2 weeks, Magic lamp every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 7, 2026.
