# One Way vs Boxville

The clearest difference is update cadence: Boxville at every 9 days against One Way's every 2 months. Boxville also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.4) and chart position (#200 vs unranked). One Way's advantage is price ($1.99 vs $3.99). On review sentiment, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

One Way costs $1.99 and Boxville $3.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Boxville holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Boxville has 772 ratings behind it against 101, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 84% of One Way's written reviews are positive against 78% of Boxville's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

One Way ships an update every 2 months, Boxville every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
