# Pumpkin Patch Match! vs SoM3

The clearest difference is rating: SoM3 at 4.6 against Pumpkin Patch Match!'s 3.0. SoM3 also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 10 months) and ratings volume (58 vs 5). Pumpkin Patch Match!'s advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 12.0). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pumpkin Patch Match! sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and SoM3 sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
