# Timecrest vs PlotWings

The clearest difference is update cadence: PlotWings at every 3 days against Timecrest's monthly. PlotWings also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and review sentiment (100% vs 85%). Timecrest's advantage is ratings volume (857 vs 23). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Timecrest sells 12 one-off in-app purchases and PlotWings sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PlotWings holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Timecrest has 857 ratings behind it against 23, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 85% of Timecrest's written reviews are positive against 100% of PlotWings's.

Timecrest ships an update monthly, PlotWings every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
