# Timecrest vs Qento

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Timecrest at 858 against Qento's 8. Timecrest also leads on device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.2 vs 18.6). Qento's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs monthly) and rating (4.9 vs 4.7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Timecrest sells 12 one-off in-app purchases and Qento sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Qento holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Timecrest has 858 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 85% of Timecrest's written reviews are positive against 100% of Qento's.

Timecrest ships an update monthly, Qento every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
