# Desh vs Thai Bible

The clearest difference is rating: Thai Bible at 5.0 against Desh's 4.2. Thai Bible also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (every 3 months vs every 11 months). Desh's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Desh sells 38 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per 3 months and Thai Bible sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Thai Bible holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Desh has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Desh ships an update every 11 months, Thai Bible every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
