# vNote vs iNote

The clearest difference is review sentiment: vNote at 95% against iNote's 49%. vNote also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.4 vs 4.1). iNote's advantage is ratings volume (2.4K vs 14) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. vNote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and iNote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

vNote holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iNote has 2.4K ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 95% of vNote's written reviews are positive against 49% of iNote's.

vNote ships an update every 6 weeks, iNote every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
