# Freshii vs Valley Eats

The clearest difference is monetization model: Freshii at free against Valley Eats's free with in-app purchases. Freshii also leads on ratings volume (965 vs 17) and rating (4.8 vs 4.6). Valley Eats's advantage is review sentiment (68% vs 59%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Freshii holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Freshii has 965 ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of Freshii's written reviews are positive against 68% of Valley Eats's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Freshii ships an update every 3 weeks, Valley Eats monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
