# YouTrack vs Tempo Cloud

The clearest difference is rating: Tempo Cloud at 4.6 against YouTrack's 3.1. Tempo Cloud also leads on ratings volume (228 vs 29) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.1). YouTrack's advantage is review sentiment (38% vs 13%) and monetization model (free vs freemium). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Tempo Cloud holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tempo Cloud has 228 ratings behind it against 29, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of YouTrack's written reviews are positive against 13% of Tempo Cloud's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
