# Meeting Cost Timers vs Pomodoro

The clearest difference is ads: Meeting Cost Timers at none against Pomodoro's shown. Meeting Cost Timers also leads on review sentiment (67% vs 50%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). Pomodoro's advantage is ratings volume (11K vs 9) and rating (4.7 vs 4.4). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Meeting Cost Timers sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Pomodoro sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pomodoro holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pomodoro has 11K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Meeting Cost Timers's written reviews are positive against 50% of Pomodoro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Meeting Cost Timers ships an update every 6 weeks, Pomodoro monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
