# Cosmology vs ASGuide

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Cosmology at 505 against ASGuide's 9. Cosmology also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 4 months) and device support (3 vs 1). ASGuide's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 89%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Cosmology against 4.8 for ASGuide. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cosmology has 505 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 89% of Cosmology's written reviews are positive against 100% of ASGuide's.

Cosmology ships an update monthly, ASGuide every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and September 14, 2026 respectively.
