# viProject vs Tasks Wizard

The clearest difference is monetization model: viProject at free with in-app purchases against Tasks Wizard's subscription. viProject also leads on rating (4.3 vs 3.8) and ads (none vs shown). Tasks Wizard's advantage is review sentiment (71% vs 37%) and device support (4 vs 1). On price, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. viProject sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.49 per month and Tasks Wizard sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

viProject holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: viProject has 301 ratings behind it against 38, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 37% of viProject's written reviews are positive against 71% of Tasks Wizard's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

viProject ships an update every 2 weeks, Tasks Wizard monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
