# Milwaukee® ONE vs Pre

The clearest difference is update cadence: Milwaukee® ONE at fortnightly against Pre's every 7 months. Milwaukee® ONE also leads on ratings volume (7.7K vs 1). Pre's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Pre holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Milwaukee® ONE has 7.7K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Milwaukee® ONE ships an update fortnightly, Pre every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
