# Roller Coaster VR Theme Park vs Ultimate Coaster

The clearest difference is rating: Roller Coaster VR Theme Park at 4.4 against Ultimate Coaster's 3.5. Roller Coaster VR Theme Park also leads on ratings volume (28K vs 1.3K). Ultimate Coaster's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (7.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Roller Coaster VR Theme Park sells 12 one-off in-app purchases and Ultimate Coaster sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Roller Coaster VR Theme Park holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Roller Coaster VR Theme Park has 28K ratings behind it against 1.3K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 47% of Roller Coaster VR Theme Park's written reviews are positive against 54% of Ultimate Coaster's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Roller Coaster VR Theme Park ships an update monthly, Ultimate Coaster every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
