# Eventium vs Readable Voice

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Readable Voice at none against Eventium's 2. Readable Voice also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Eventium's advantage is price ($3.99 vs $9.99) and ratings volume (379 vs 4). On update cadence, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Eventium costs $3.99 and Readable Voice $9.99 up front. Eventium sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Readable Voice asks for nothing beyond the download.

Readable Voice holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Eventium has 379 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 85% of Eventium's written reviews are positive against 75% of Readable Voice's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
