# NI WorkTrak vs EclipseAdvantage

The clearest difference is rating: EclipseAdvantage at 5.0 against NI WorkTrak's 1.6. NI WorkTrak's advantage is ratings volume (124 vs 3) and review sentiment (9% vs 0%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

EclipseAdvantage holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NI WorkTrak has 124 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 9% of NI WorkTrak's written reviews are positive against 0% of EclipseAdvantage's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

NI WorkTrak ships an update every 4 weeks, EclipseAdvantage fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
