# Lichtbotschaften vs Leela Clue

The clearest difference is monetization model: Leela Clue at free against Lichtbotschaften's free with in-app purchases. Lichtbotschaften's advantage is iOS requirement (7.0 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lichtbotschaften sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Leela Clue sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lichtbotschaften ships an update every 5 weeks, Leela Clue monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
