# Disc Golf Caddy Pro vs DiscScout

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Disc Golf Caddy Pro at 229 against DiscScout's 13. Disc Golf Caddy Pro also leads on iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.0). DiscScout's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 58%). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Disc Golf Caddy Pro sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per year and DiscScout sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for Disc Golf Caddy Pro against 4.5 for DiscScout. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Disc Golf Caddy Pro has 229 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 58% of Disc Golf Caddy Pro's written reviews are positive against 67% of DiscScout's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
