# Penji vs MyQStudio

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Penji at none against MyQStudio's 2. Penji also leads on ratings volume (1.2K vs 6) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 4 weeks). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MyQStudio sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Penji asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Penji against 5.0 for MyQStudio. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Penji has 1.2K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.
