# Winmail Viewer vs CSV File Viewer

The clearest difference is review sentiment: CSV File Viewer at 90% against Winmail Viewer's 25%. CSV File Viewer also leads on rating (3.8 vs 2.0) and ratings volume (20 vs 1). Winmail Viewer's advantage is monetization model (free vs freemium) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Winmail Viewer sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and CSV File Viewer sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CSV File Viewer holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CSV File Viewer has 20 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 25% of Winmail Viewer's written reviews are positive against 90% of CSV File Viewer's.
