# QuietAlert vs MIMI Private Timer

The clearest difference is update cadence: MIMI Private Timer at every 6 days against QuietAlert's every 12 months. MIMI Private Timer also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). QuietAlert's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. QuietAlert sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and MIMI Private Timer sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
