# BookBub vs Prolific Works

The clearest difference is rating: BookBub at 4.7 against Prolific Works's 4.0. BookBub also leads on chart position (#62 vs unranked). Prolific Works's advantage is review sentiment (71% vs 54%) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BookBub holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 961 and 348 respectively.
