# BookBub vs The Library District

BookBub and The Library District both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 82% of The Library District's written reviews are positive against 54% of BookBub's. The Library District also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). BookBub's advantage is ratings volume (960 vs 16) and chart position (#50 vs unranked). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for BookBub against 4.6 for The Library District. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BookBub has 960 ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two.
