# Study Manager vs MyFormulae

The clearest difference is update cadence: MyFormulae at fortnightly against Study Manager's every 5 weeks. MyFormulae also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Study Manager sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and MyFormulae sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Study Manager ships an update every 5 weeks, MyFormulae fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
