# Task Office lite vs Simplexity

The clearest difference is update cadence: Task Office lite at every 3 weeks against Simplexity's every 2 months. Task Office lite also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Task Office lite sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Simplexity sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Task Office lite ships an update every 3 weeks, Simplexity every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
