# Alert Card vs Vind

The clearest difference is rating: Alert Card at 5.0 against Vind's 3.8. Alert Card also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). Vind's advantage is ratings volume (33 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Alert Card holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Vind has 33 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
