# Simply Salad vs Flute Drinks

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Flute Drinks at 75% against Simply Salad's 29%. Flute Drinks also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (12.4 vs 16.0). Simply Salad's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (2.8K vs 18). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Simply Salad holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Simply Salad has 2.8K ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of Simply Salad's written reviews are positive against 75% of Flute Drinks's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Simply Salad ships an update every 3 months, Flute Drinks every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
