# Somerset Cinemas vs GATEsync

The clearest difference is rating: GATEsync at 5.0 against Somerset Cinemas's 4.1. GATEsync also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 9 months). Somerset Cinemas's advantage is ratings volume (17 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GATEsync holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Somerset Cinemas has 17 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
