# Gravity Train VR vs VR Cursed Night

The clearest difference is rating: VR Cursed Night at 3.0 against Gravity Train VR's 1.8. VR Cursed Night also leads on ratings volume (66 vs 13). Gravity Train VR's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 17 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Gravity Train VR sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and VR Cursed Night sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VR Cursed Night holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VR Cursed Night has 66 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of Gravity Train VR's written reviews are positive against 24% of VR Cursed Night's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Gravity Train VR ships an update every 2 months, VR Cursed Night every 17 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
