# Grunt Style vs RAM®

Grunt Style and RAM® both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 82% of Grunt Style's written reviews are positive against 31% of RAM®'s. RAM®'s advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (91K vs 18K). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Grunt Style against 4.8 for RAM®. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RAM® has 91K ratings behind it against 18K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 82% of Grunt Style's written reviews are positive against 31% of RAM®'s.

Grunt Style ships an update every 3 weeks, RAM® monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
