# General Trivia vs IPTV Mega Player

The clearest difference is ads: General Trivia at none against IPTV Mega Player's shown. IPTV Mega Player's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 11 months) and iOS requirement (12.4 vs 15.6). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. General Trivia sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and IPTV Mega Player sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

General Trivia ships an update every 11 months, IPTV Mega Player every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
