# HealthMon vs Micro Kitty

The clearest difference is review sentiment: HealthMon at 70% against Micro Kitty's 0%. HealthMon also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 8 months) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 13.0). Micro Kitty's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 3.9). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HealthMon sells 9 one-off in-app purchases and Micro Kitty sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Micro Kitty holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 9 and 4 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 70% of HealthMon's written reviews are positive against 0% of Micro Kitty's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

HealthMon ships an update weekly, Micro Kitty every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
