# Home Alerts vs Digital Tech Care

The clearest difference is rating: Digital Tech Care at 5.0 against Home Alerts's 4.0. Digital Tech Care also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 22) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.2). Home Alerts's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (25 vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Home Alerts sells 19 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Digital Tech Care asks for nothing beyond the download.
