# 萌动 vs G动

The clearest difference is rating: G动 at 4.6 against 萌动's 2.3. G动 also leads on review sentiment (91% vs 50%) and ratings volume (66 vs 3). 萌动's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 13.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 萌动 sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and G动 sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

G动 holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: G动 has 66 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 50% of 萌动's written reviews are positive against 91% of G动's.

萌动 ships an update every 3 weeks, G动 every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
