# Soul vs Gööp

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Gööp at 100% against Soul's 28%. Gööp also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 15) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.0). Soul's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.6 vs 4.2). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Soul sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Gööp asks for nothing beyond the download.

Soul holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Soul has 10K ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 28% of Soul's written reviews are positive against 100% of Gööp's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Soul ships an update weekly, Gööp every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
