# Soul vs 看鱼

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: 看鱼 at none against Soul's 10. 看鱼 also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Soul's advantage is ratings volume (10K vs 1) and update cadence (weekly vs every 5 weeks). On price, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Soul sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. 看鱼 asks for nothing beyond the download.

看鱼 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Soul has 10K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Soul ships an update weekly, 看鱼 every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
