# Soul vs Chomog

The clearest difference is rating: Soul at 4.6 against Chomog's 2.0. Soul also leads on ratings volume (10K vs 1) and chart position (#141 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Soul sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Chomog sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Soul holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Soul has 10K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Soul ships an update weekly, Chomog every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
