# Soul vs 点外

The clearest difference is rating: 点外 at 5.0 against Soul's 4.6. 点外 also leads on iOS requirement (13 vs 15.0). Soul's advantage is ratings volume (10K vs 1) and chart position (#92 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Soul sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and 点外 sells 23 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

点外 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Soul has 10K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Soul ships an update weekly, 点外 every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
